Competency-based testing evaluates your understanding and application of business analysis skills, tasks, tools and techniques, and validates your key competencies. Programs and testing are based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK® Guide) – the global standard for the practice of business analysis.
An IIBA® competency-based certification tells employers you have the required skills, knowledge and experience in business analysis. Certification improves your marketability, your employability, and your earning potential.

IIBA® offer the following certification levels;
ECBA™ recognizes individuals ready to develop their business analysis skills, knowledge and behaviors as practicing business analysis professionals.
CCBA® recognizes skilled BA professionals who have two to three years of practical business analysis work experience.
CBAP® recognizes seasoned BA professionals who have over five years of practical business analysis work experience.
Pay the exam fee in order to be eligible to schedule the exam.
Once your exam fee is received by IIBA, you will receive an e-mail confirming payment with instructions to schedule your exam.
At this point, you can proceed to schedule your exam with Prometric for CCBA® and CBAP®.
Note: to schedule your exam with Prometric, you will require the Eligibility ID number in your confirmation email.
You will be required to present a valid, non-expired government-issued ID in Latin characters with a current photo and signature. The name on the identification must be the same as the name that appears on your exam application. If you fail to produce the proper form of identification, you will not be admitted to the examination and will forfeit your exam fees.
You will not be allowed to take any personal items with you into the testing room. This includes all bags, books or other materials not authorized for this exam, notes, phones, pagers, watches and wallets. You will, however, be provided a locker where you can keep your personal items. It is important that all electronic items, such as cellphones should be turned OFF.
